Camera and Scanner Information Digital Camera Issues While downloading photos from digital cameras, it is strongly recommended to operate the camera while connected via the camera power adapter. Downloading photos while running the camera with the internal batteries may result in file corruption if the batteries are running low on power. If you want to download photos from a digital camera but don't want to give them a prefix, you must delete the text in the prefix edit box and press Enter on the keyboard. If you don't press Enter, the text previously displayed will still be used as the prefix. PhotoSuite 4 does not support downloading photos from Kodak Cameras that have been mounted as an external drive. You must acquire your photos from these cameras via normal means (via Direct or TWAIN). Due to problems with communication between the Kodak DC 210 WIA driver and the Windows Millennium operating system, when using the Kodak DC 210 WIA driver in Get Digital Camera (TWAIN), if you set the camera up to provide FPX photos when accessed via the WIA driver, the downloaded photos will incorrectly have the JPG extension. To download FPX photos from the Kodak DC 210, you must use the Kodak software that came with your camera, or rename all the file extensions yourself. If you set the camera up to provide JPEG photos, it will work correctly.
